Overclocking my rig 3800 x2 k8n-neo4
Ok heres the build
K8n-neo4-f
AMD 3800 x2
2Gb G.Skill ZX Series DDR PC3200 (DDR400) 2-3-2-5 Dual Channel kit
RIght from what ive read lower the CPU ratio say to 9 the increase the FSB in increment of 5 then test until unstable then either drop back to being stable or raise the cpu voltage> Then when its stable try increasing CPU ratio until it becomes unstable and either increase the cpu voltage or stop at that so i have the highest FSB and CPU ratio that is stable
Does this sound right
Also Mentions dropping the HTT multi would this be the HT frequency on my board thats set at 5 and best to drop it down to 3 or 4 as long as its kept below 1000 = htt x fsb
Now if im right above what do i need to do with the memory while im overclocking the cpu and also to overclock the memorythis is where im getting a bit confused
Cheers
Marc
