Hello, first post everyone so thanks in advance.

I have a 3800+ on standard heatsink/fan with a pull/push case fan set up.

I'm running 512mb x2 GEIL value 3200 DDR.

Regardless of the case fans, it has only ever been happy running at 2.52Ghz. It's rock solid at that but won't boot into Windows at even one mhz extra on the bus.

It is fine at 12x210 but won't work at 12x211.

What I want to know is:

What should I be able to get out of it at stock cooling? I'm guessing that voltages will need to be upped but this hasn't helped in the past.

What could I get out of it with an upgraded heatsink/fan combo?

Please recommend me a good heatsink/fan combo too.

Cheers.

post full spec of your overclock, did you use ram divider? what's the current temperatue you running at the moment both idle and load? stock HSF is good for stock speed. if you planning to overclock then i suggest you get a better HSF. do a search for "arctic freezer 64 pro" should give you a good idea of what temp you should expect from this HSF.
