Hi guys
I'm fairly new to overclocking graphics cards, but I'm getting on okay with my 670.
I've got the voltage and power usage set to the highest it will go (locked to 112% and 1.175v) and managed to get 1228mhz core, 3500mhz memory clock perfectly stable.
My question is, because the card is so damn cool (59 degrees under load, as low as 29 idling, and this is with the fans set to minimum speeds), can I overclock it further by unlocking the voltage?
I feel it must be able to go quite a bit higher if it were allowed to.
I know on CPU's in general the overclock is normally limited by temperature, but I'm unsure how to proceed with GPU's... I run nvidia surround at 5760x1080 so it'd be really helpful to get a few extra fps
.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!
