Overclocking myq6600 b3 UPDATED I AM HAPPY!

goin to overclock my q6600 b3 and i am not sure what fsb speed , i am wanting to get it up to 3.0ghz but will the fsb speed at 1066 be ok?

spec are mobo: nvidia 680i sli
cpu q6600 b3ram: ocz 4gb vista upgrade PC2-5400 @ 667mhz ddr2

also any ideas on memory timings please and voltages for cpu and ram

just been reading over some overclocking thing on ocuk and tom hardware, a pdf from nvidia about overclocking and i have done a little overclocking

here a pic, i am goin to let it run like that for a day or 2 then run prime95 in the meantime as i am new to overclocking and this is my 1st time overclocking

3.0ghz should be easily done.
Mine is currently running at 3.2ghz under a Tuniq Tower 120, soon to be water!

I have left mine at 3.4 im happy with it there, could quiet easily go higher.

i am running this cooler at the moment.

you guys think i can push it too 3.0ghz to nite? what fsb tho?

Well the FSB will have to be 1334mhz.

You might need to go as high as 1.35v in windows (as read by CPU-Z) to get 3ghz stable on a B3.

now at 3.0ghz, 1334 fsb what do you think of the temp's?

edit: changed the cpu voltage to 1.4 and fsb to 1.4 also seems to be running ok goin to run prime95 for a bit now

Is a "b" stepping any good? how far should that go as a rule ?? I have it at 3.1 with 1.325 volts going through it

remember the overclock will be limited by all that ram, mine is only stable at 3.1 with 4gb ddr3

Keep going until temps/volts get too high.

yeah I know that but , I was just wondering i've got it at 3.2 now and i'm happy with that. Don't wanna push the temps to high there running at 55 ish under load , which is fine by me
