Hey mates, just can't seem to decide on the right netbook. Of course Sony has priced themselves right out of this century for a decent one but hey.

Anyway my question is: I see some netbooks are being overclocked but not by much.

1) does it provide any noticable real world difference, (not benches but real world use)

2) does an OC eat at the battery more?

3) which models allow for overclocking? As of right now I only know of the asus. Does samsung, toshiba, sony, msi, acer, any of them allow for any overclocking? and does it even matter?

Thanks for any help as it will help me narrow my selection down.
So far i'm looking at it like this:
I want an n280 cpu
2gb ram (which will upgrade if need be)
ssd (will upgrade it to one)
7+ hrs battery life without a huge battery.

msi wind (and also advent 4211 & medion branded winds) did in previous bios's ive tried not sure on others, think netbooks are limited to 2gb max, maybe newer ion based ones can take more
