Overclocking new system

Hey guys, got all my stuff come through fine, its all working good.

p5n-e sli 650i
intel e4300 core 2 duo
Freezer 7 Artic Cooling

though ive tryed putting up the multiplyer in the bios to overclock the cpu and no joy, so i was wondering if you guys could suggest a program to use for overclocking or tell me what im doing wrong.

hoping to get to around 3-3.2ghz

have you tried upping the FSB rather than the multiplyer, generally the multiplyer is reduced to help with an overclock not increased.

looks like im just an idiot, the multiplyer is locked on intel processors, didnt realise i was ment to be looking for the fsb...

duh, clocked with and fsb of 1337 lol...
