After searching the forums, I can`t quite find the exact help i am looking for, so here goes........

New build as sig.

Having just changed over from a P4 northwood/AGP setup, I have been "left behind" a bit and I have no experience oveclocking the newer systems.

Once built, I installed XP etc. etc. and was well impressed. After reading many posts on here, I upped the FSB to 250 without problems. Everything else in bios is was set to auto. This gave me an extra 1K in 3D06.(Currently 10k)
Temps with coretemp & tat are around 30 idle and 40 load. The Noctua and case are clearly doing the job. :)

This has wetted my appetite, so the question is, what next? Clearly the FSB will go further, but what do i need to be careful of?

Do i need to lock down PCI/PCI-e frequencies like the old AGP systems?
Should i set my memory timings manually? I presume they will be in a kind of "safe" mode at the minute.
I would prefer not to mess too much with voltages at the minute if possible. (Boring i know:p)

Any help with tuning my system would be really appreciated. There just seems so many more bios options compared to my old P4PE, and I just need a little guidance.

I did post something similar in the CPU ramblings thread, but it got missed and I thought it may be better here in the OC section.
