I got my Q6600 at the weekend (G0 stepping), i heard about how good it was at overclocking, and quite fancied the idea of a CPU running at the same speed as another over £500 more expensive. So having not really overclocked before, I decided to have a read of the stickies on here and ask a few friends for advice and such.

The general idea I got in simple terms was get the FSB up by 5Mhz everytime, if it failed a stress test; up the voltages etc. Doing this, I've managed to get it up to 3.2Ghz on 355Mhz x9, voltages at 1.35V with a 2:3 multi, so my RAM is running near enough stock at 1066Mhz. Just wanting to take it as far at it can go and get the most out of this chip.

I'm using air cooling in the form of the Thermaltake Ultra, with a standard 120mm fan that only appears to be going round at just over 1000RPM, the temperatures are reasonable at the moment, 33C idle, 55C load (according to Abit utility - speedfan gives some very strange readings, darting from -109C to +107C and everything inbetween).

Basically, wondering what people thought would be the best route to go down next, I don't really know what and acceptable V to use is if I'm honest, I'm fairly pleased with what I've got now, so its not the end of the world if I can't take it any further.
