Hi guys,

I have currently got my E6750 (2.6Ghz)(333x8) @ 3.0Ghz with stock voltages and stock intel cooler (375x8) running at around 35degrees.

How far can these babies go on stock air cooling? Plus which voltages will i need step up in order to cope?

Hi thanks for that.

I have just checked coretemp and these are the results:

tJunction: 85 degrees
core 0: 15 degrees
core 1: 16 degrees

What is tjunction btw?

It looks as though its coping quite well at the moment, can you confirm this fr me?

I have installed prime95 so will give this a go in due course.

aha thanks, thats more like it.

core 0: 33 degrees
core 1: 32 degrees

hi again.

ran prime for about 5 mins and temps went to:

core 0: 48/49
core 1: 51/52

wow thats a pretty big threshold isnt it?

I remeber when my old athlon would spew at 60 degrees.
