Can you please tell me which 2 utillities are compatible with Win 8 first CPU to monitor CPU temp etc and 2nd the gigabyte Z68-D3H-B3 utillities no longer run in Win 8 what can i use to overclock a Nvidia GTX 480. And which cooler Corsair A60 or Air cooler ?

Intel 2500k stock cooler(will replace)
Asus GTX 480(custom cooler already on)
Gigayte Z68-D3H-B3
Corsair Vengance Blue 1866 c9 2x 4 gig.
OCZ 700 Watt

Still kicks the as off Sniper Elite 2, F12012, Crysis 3, at 1080 and 1050 but the latter and new games are gunna need a little more FPS.

I think moogleys has settings for that board

in the meantime try high llc and +0.020 dvid

set cpu voltage to normal first then set dvid

vcore voltage response to fast,pwm phase control to extreme performance

set cpu multi to 45x


ohh id go for aircooler as they will be more reliable,make sure it can clear your rams tall heatsinks if they have them

coolers like the hyper 212?

wazza300 great reply thanks of course your right the DH3 is narrow thanks for the air cooler suggestion check that in a minute just if you have any advice about software, i realise the specs is a little out of fashion today.

you can use msi afterburner software,or asus gpu tweak

not sure on overclocking NVidia though,maybe make a thread in gpu section
