I got Asus rog strix 3090 oc.

I have used the Asus Tweak 2 tool, and set the voltages, power limit and clock to the max.

I run the benchmarks and the card does not get above 65 c.

I just feel that this card can do a lot more and I am leaving performance on the table. I think I have got lucky and this is a very good card/silicon.

What are the next steps ?

I got 14400+ on port royal and would like to maybe get to top 100. Which is not far off, I need maybe 350 more points only.

What I specifically dont understand is : voltages and power limits on the card, and how they relate to clock speed and how to increase them beyond what is allowed on Asus Tweak 2?

I also dont want card to over heat, so was going to make hard limit of 80 c not wanting to exceed 75 normally. I cant push the card to these thermal limits given Asus Tweak 2.

I seriously dont want to bork this card or put it into risk also, please keep this in mind.

Advice/next steps anyone?

Please reply as if to a child, as I dont know nearly as much as you think I do.

How do the guys who get in the top 30 or so, just below the LN2 guys do it, just on air ?

Thanks for any who answer.

As far as I was aware with nvidia 3000 series under 50/55c is where you would see the highest boost clocks, is if your all about getting onto that leader board, maybe try ramping up your fans to max and possibly a separate 120mm blowing directly onto the card
I am more curious about what my card can do.

I put the fans to max already. They are not too loud, ok for me.

Modifying things/installing new fans is not what I want to do.

I mainly want advice about afterburner(or other software i should use), etc, and to understand how these cards work, with voltages, thermals, etc. If I need to change bios for example or such to increase power limits, i probably wont do it.

65c seems pretty cool to me given cards I have had in past, I am just thinking I got lucky on silicon lottery and there is a lot more that this card can easily push. So I want to know how to do it, and if it is safe to do.

Getting onto the leader board is certainly a "nice to have".

Thank you for your reply.
