I have OC Genie enabled, but only get 3.5GHz.

My CPU core temps at idle are between 20-25 degrees C, so I think I can go higher. But, would it be better to just disable OC Genie and overclock manually?

I was thinking 4GHz. I also want to overclock my memory so it can get to its fullest potential, right now it's at 1333MHZ... but it can get up to 2130MHZ with XMP- only, with XMP enabled, my system won't boot. :<

I wouldn't overclock your memory high if you're trying to hit 4GHz, that could just cause more problems. Most people won't notice a difference between memory clocked at 1333MHz or 2000MHz imo.

Well OC genie is limited to that because MSI don't want sueing for blown CPUs etc You can manually tweak it though using the + and - buttons near to the OC Genie button, Linus does it during one of his videos on his YouTube channel 'Linus Tech Tips'
