Hey Guys, I've had my PC [Specs below] for near a month now and i've finally decided to overclock it abit, I only want to raise the bar a little at a time.

Asus P5K-E
Q6600 G0
Ram:

So i went into the P5K-E's Bios expecting to find a option of allowing me to switch from "Auto" to "Manual" And i found nothing? I'm obviously not looking in the right place. If anyone could give me a hand with this it would be much appreciated, and of course I'm a first'er to this :P

Thanks

Joe.

Right, Stupid me wasn't looking in the right place, I've managed to navigate myself to the place i'm looking for, I set the multi to manual - 9, Then Set the A.I to Manual and now i am given my voltages etc. I then see the FSB which is currently on 266 which i want to change to 300 [small step] 2.7Ghz, But it's not letting me change it, when i press enter it doesn't give me the option for a frequency. Am i missing something out?

Thanks,

Joe.

You can use + and - on the keyboard to change it when you have fsb highlighted.
Not sure why it wouldn't be coming up when you press enter, I'm sure mine does :p

I used the method of using "+" and "-" And it's working great, But i feel i'm doing something wrong, on the memory side of things, is there any guides that can help me with this?
