Hey folks;
Spec is in sig;
I have overclocked my Q9450 to 3.4ghz (8x425mhz FSB)
All I did was change the FSB, and manually set the voltage to be 1.1500v which is the stock voltage for this CPU instead of it being on Auto.
The ram is running just over DDR1000mhz speeds, but only barely, plus my ram is rated 1000mhz at stock.
It has ran stable, im happy with that clock, and I just wondered, is it as good as you can get, if you can have a stable overclock on stock volts? Or is it a better idea to up the voltage a little bit to keep it running ok?
