I'm trying to get my sempron 145 past 3.85ghz but i am finding it really hard to get it stable past these frequencies and it keeps blue screening when i put it under load even at 3.875ghz. The tempratures are fine with the cpu hitting max temps of only 40C when under full load at 3.85Ghz. I currently have a gigabyte 970a ds3 which isn't the best board but i was hoping to get to 4ghz.
I have the following settings in the bios:
cpu multiplier X14 (3850mhz)
bus speed/cpu clock 275
northbridge multiplier X10 (2750mhz)
ht link multiplier X8 (2200mhz)
ram multiplier X4 (1100mhz)
cpu voltage 1.400v (1.350v is stock)
northbridge voltage 1.200v
ram voltage 1.520v
any suggestions
also if anyone has any advice on possibly unlocking the second core because i haven't tryed this yet but core temp os saying my cpu is regor instead of sargas, is that code name for athlon ii x2?
