Hi there,

I am fixing a friend's computer with an Abit as-8v guru and a P4 540 3.2 with the following numbers:

L44a551 (I think  )
SL7J7

CPU-z says:

family F Model:3 Stepping: 4 Revision: D0

It has original heatsink with just applied AS5.

Its now priming at 16x210 (3360 Mhz), FSB 840 and 56C

Ram is in a divider running now at 166. I am afraid I can not get more speed from the ram as the old module is PC2700 and the other one I bought for him is PC3200. Memory running in dual channel.

As I don't have much idea about overclocking pemtiums can anybody tell me safe temps, max volts and FSB and what I can get from the chip?

any help is welcome as I have just a few days to play with it ;)

Its not my pc and my friend doesn't care about more speed too much so i have to get the most of it with the pc2700 ram

anyway please let me know about safe temps and volts
