I'm currently trying to OC My Phenom II X4 940 BE from it's stock 3.00GHz to around 3.80-4.00GHz.

I've already OC'ed it to 3.40Ghz by changing the multiplyer to x17 but have kept the voltage at stock of 1.35v. I'm getting idle temps of around 32-34 degrees and load temps of around 45 degrees with my H50. This is where I'm not too sure what to do. I don't know what to change my voltage to since I'm new to OCing my CPU and should I change the FSB and not the multiplyer at some point? (I only recently got my H50, I was getting around 50 degrees at idle with the stock cooler which put me off OCing).

Thanks.

You should try and raise the FSB, but watch out for your RAM; don't want that getting overloaded! Just change the FSB:RAM ratio if you do go above it though.

Keep raising the FSB until it becomes unstable and then up the voltage. Check your temps, and repeat this process for as many times as you possibly can!

The temperatures you are getting at the moment are good, nothing to worry about there.

I've got it running at 3.7GHz stable and the voltage is around 1.472 according to CPU-Z. I want to get it to 3.8GHz stable but I'm not sure if I should go over 1.5v, should I push it up to 1.525v if it isn't stable at 1.5v or should I just stick with 3.7GHz? The temps are around 53 degrees but sometimes go up to 54/55 degrees.

It's up to but I would probably stick @ 3.7 for a 24/7 OC. You will probably need to go over 1.5v and temp wise it wont be pretty, not really worth it for an extra 100mhz.
