hi all, total newbie here. ive just built a new system, first time ive ever done it, and realy enjoyed it. i just need a little advice on over clocking the cpu. when i go into the bios, all settings for the cpu are on auto, so i dont know what the origional settings for multiplier, fsb frequency or voltages ect are. how do i find out what the values for these settings are, so i know where to start.
my system for anyone that wants to know contains a pehnom x3 8650, 4gb (2x2gb) 1066mhz corsair xms2 memory, Asus m4a78pro MOBO, 320GB WD HDD, 500w ocz PSU, nvidia geforce 8600gts graphics.
