I'm just about to make an order of a CPU, RAM, and MB.

Just wanted to double check to make sure i'm making to right decision with my selections.

I'm thinking about going for an Abit IP35-E, E2180(offer), and 2x GeIL 2GB (2x1GB)(offer). This is to go with my 8800GT.

I've gone for the cheaper processor because i know i'd want one of the new quad core sometime in the near future. this would just be to tie me over till then.

Would these bits be a good base for overclocking, or would i be better off going for something different? I don't mind paying a little extra, but i am on a budget. but at the same time i don't want to be needing to buy these again any time soon.

Also would it be worth getting a better CPU cooler?

A better CPU cooler will help with the E2180 but won't make a difference with a new Quad (assuming its a Q9450?)
