Overclocking problem and upgrade advice

My CPU is supposed to be over clocked to 4.40ghz however n my specs it does not show that. What is the problem? I am also looking to see what would be the best next thing to upgrade on my PC and am requesting some links to products suitable. Thanks.

Did you overclock using the BIOS or software? I've found in the past that if I use software, it doesn't show.

You are looking in the wrong place. Both of those places will never show your overclock.

Download CPU-Z and prime 95. CPU-z will show you lots of information about your ram and cpu, prime95 will load your cpu to max and show what your overclock is.
