Hi, just been overclocking my machine - 4300, 4x1gb GeIL ULL 6400 RAM, Asus p5k deluxe MB, watercooled. I got it up to 3.33 (370 x 9) at 1.4825 (1.) and it's 30mins orthos stable so far, with load temps of ~62-63 by TAT.

I tried seeing whether the chip could go to 3.375 (375 x 9) and after blackscreening on lower voltages got it to get into windows and run orthos at 1.5625v in Bios. It ran Orthos for a minute before blackscreening and rebooting, after which the machine came up with a BIOS checksum error screen. After rebooting it seems fine at the earlier setting of 3.33 GHz. Is the bios checksum error screen something I should worry about? (BIOS is version 0404).

These are my settings at present. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

CPU voltage seems a lil high, what CPU are you using, you may also want to tweak NB and SB voltages and maybe PLL BUT DONT EXCEED 1.6 or 1.4 (depending on CPU) if you want your CPU to be... dead

Right, in regards to my last post, dont touch the PPL, Increase your NB and SB voltages from there default value,

Good Luck!

also ive heard reports of people hitting 3.5Ghz with this chip
