overclocking problem psu?

last night i was trying to overclcok my 570gtx , i had it at 870 core but 1.080 volts , went till almost the end of the benchmark then whole computer went dead no power , it then restarted after 10 seconds by it self , no blue screen etc .
Now dont laugh but my psu is an old hiper 580r maybe its not big enough for the computer? if i want to over clock and go sli with the cards in future what psu would you recommend

Apart from the fact that Hiper Type R's blow up (see the huge thread on them), the Hiper can only deliver a pathetic 360w on the 12v rails.

Treat your pc to one of these while they are on special.
