Hi need some help "newbe needs advice"

Im oc my q6600 my target is 3.0ghz but everytime i try and boot it at 333Fsb it fails with the message header missing etc

Im using 4 gigs of OCZ 6400 ram and have set ram divider at "2.5 in bios and fsb ratio 4:5, ram is at 402mhz and cpu clock at 2.90Ghz fsb 322.0mhz rated fsb 1288mhz x9 multiplyer"

ive ran prime95 blend test on all cores it passes it.

any ideas why ?

thx

Set the RAM to 2.0 rather than 2.5 to give yourself plenty of headroom. Also - have you locked the PCIe bus? The error you are describing sounds like you are losing the SATA HDD, which might imply you have somehow overclocked the PCIe bus.
