overclocking q6600 please

Hi,

Can someone tell me what settings i should be using to overclock this processor to get optimum performance.

I have an abit fatality FP-IN9 SLI, intel q6600 2.4 gig, arctic 7 pro cpu fan and 2 gig Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800) 4-4-4-12 and a x1900xt 512mb.

What should i be looking to overclock it too please?

And what sort of programs can i use to monitor the temperatures etc?

I know nothing about OCing.. but for reliable temps, i've found Intel TAT to be the most reliable, followed by CoreTemp then speedfan
