Overclocking Q6850

Hi im new to overclocking and curious what would be a safe overclock for this cpu and the best way to go about it? thanks guys, has anyone got this clocked up to a good speed and solid?

2 300gb sata Hard Drives, 2 NEC DVD re-writer drives
1 Samsung 1TB spinpoint hard drive
Coolermaster 1000W PSU, x2 BFG 8800GTX Overclocked and Watercooled
Thermochill 3 Fan Rad + Laing Pump with XSPC clear top + XSPC Drive Bay and 1/2" Tygon Hose running 2 GPUs
Thermochill 1 Fan Rad + Aquaero Pump + Aquatube Res + 10mm Hose running CPU
All controlled via Aquaero monitoring system running Vista 64bit

shows you the max voltage intel recommends is 1.5 so whatever overclock you can get to with less than that voltage would be safe, but you do have other parts of MB voltage that you would have to look up as well.

Thanks, im new to this and my computer is crashing every cple hrs without any tweaks, any ideas what the cause could be? heres the info i have if its any help to anyone that can help me? please!!

Mem DDR2- Auto
FSB Memory Ratio- Auto
CPU Core Volt- 1.350
DDR2 Volt- 1.850
CPU VTT Volt- 1.2
NB Volt- 1.4
SB Volt- 1.65
Hyper Transport Volt- 1.40
Memory is set to 6-6-6-18 however when i try changing this it goes back to default on reboot, any ideas here?
One last thing aswell the CPU is set to 333 standard but theres the unlinked and linked option, what are these and should it be on one of these for any settings i have to make?
Your help would be much appreciated guys as im sick of it crashing every few hrs, sometimes it can go for 5-6 hrs no bother playing COD4etc... other times 1hr then resets. Please let me know anything i can do and if these settings need changing

your memory requires 2.1 volts will definately need to push your volts to that or close to it especially if your running 4 sticks. You may also need to set the timings manually as they are not always set right.
