what can I expect to get from a Q9550 with ocz gold ddr6400 ram (4x2gb).

Any tips would be good. I am running 3740mhz with auto voltage. and ram 2v.

oh

fsb 1760mhz . ram 880mhz
cheers

your actual FSB is a quarter of that, so 440, tbh Im suprised youve got that far, the limiting factor is likely to be your RAM (stock FSB of 400) which normally fails before your CPU, if you bought new 8500 RAM, or your current RAM allows you to go further 4 should be attainable, thats not a guarantee though, depends on each chip (all individual) and your mobo (you havent mentioned)
As I say youve done well to get to 3.7, do you need more?

Yeah that's a neat little 10% overclock on the Ram, not too shabby! :p

Minty-Linty, you are gonna need some memory that can run 500MHz (DDR2-1000) at least, I doubt those sticks have got much more speed left in them, could be wrong though . . . . drop your CPU multiplier and raise the FSB some more to see if they explode heh!

hehe, explode. now that sounds good. I have some ddr 1150. chaintech. but it would not boot in my machine. I reckon I could get more, may be 3.9 on air ultra 120 heat sink :P
