Overclocking Q9550

Hi

Im new to overclocking and was wondering how to increase my CPU speed.
I know that increasing the FSB will do it but will this automatically increase my rams speed?

Also if I wanted to know if it is possible increase the CPU speed more and how would I do it, because I know by increase my FSB to 1600 from 1333 will increase the CPU to 3.4 GHz.

my current pc spec is:
Motherboard = Asus P5P43TD PRO
Ram = 4 GB Corsair DDR 3 1333 MHz
CPU = Intel Q9550 2.83 GHz
Graphics card = Radeon 6970
PSU = Antec CP 1000

Any other advice on overclocking is welcome.

I would read that if I was you so when people post to help you know what they are talking about.

Also do a search in oc&cooling section for "Q9550" there are shed loads of posts.
You will get the Q9550 to 3.6-3.8 easy.
