overclocking query

hi, quick question
new build this week, e6300 and ds3
when overclocking is it ok to start with a large increase in fsb or goes the cpu need to work its way up in small steps. Just asking because of the apparent large overclocking room in this chip,.

I'd raise the voltage to 1.4v and see if it'll boot at 400x7. That seems to be about the minimum for the e6300.

cool jumped straight in at 350 that worked, then 400, now running at 3.1ghz memory at 4-4-4-12

3748 on 3dMarks06 with a 7600gt is this ok?
