I tried searching, yes. But theres too many threads and I can't see the answer from skim reading so anyways.
Was looking at overclocking my Q6600 got it to 3ghz by rasing the FSB to 333 but to start with the system wasn't getting past the POST. Went back into bios and noticed the CPU
ram was on 1:1.50 (DDR2-999)when I changed the FSB so changed it to 1:1.25 which changed it to DDD2-833. Anyways I've heard that a 1:1 ratio is what you want to achieve but my question is whats the other thing I changed the DDR2-833 part and is that OK or should it be on something different? Using 4GB of PC6400 OCZ ram btw
EDIT: Crap noticed theres an overclocking forum
