Overclocking RX 580 8GB

So I tried overclocking my GPU, a Power Color RX580 8GB
Stock boost is up to 1350Mhz with Adrenalin doing an Auto OC to 1420Mhz both with Memory frequency at 2000Mhz (8Gbs)

I have managed to only push the core speed to 1440Mhz and keep it stable even though a lot of cards get to 1500Mhz.

The strange thing I have managed though is that the GPU Memory is pushed to 2600Mhz (10.4Gbs) with no problems at all even after a few hours of stress testing the GPU. I typically see the max memory frequency OC's to 2250Mhz so I was very surprised to get 2600Mhz working.

check your scores are actually improving. Use superposition benchmark to test

Looks like the clock improvements made the biggest difference but the Memory speed added a few extra points

try doing 2200 2400 and see the difference. just because it can do 2600 doesn't mean its the best frequency.
