Overclocking Software Results

Hi all - before and after overclocking CPU and GPU what would be your goto software benchmark software and FPS monitors you would use?

I use to use online https://www.userbenchmark.com/Software for PC in the past but am a bit confused of the politics in whether they are the good guys or not as it were - some of the result text for the GFX cards for example seem to heavily sway one way or the other.
(AMD in anti results PR, NVIDIA in Fake Frame per £ etc)

3dmark for GPU's. Cinebench for CPUs. 3dmark timespy score is good for seeing increases from memory overclocking

Other than that, benchmarks in the actual games you play. Forza, Gears or war and tomb raider all have good benchmarks.
