Hi,

I've got a Gigabyte board here running 800Mhz OCZ memory which says its voltage should be 2.1v. Well, in the BIOS, it says its 1.84v and I cant adjust it. Only way i've got the system stable and running is to set the mhz down to 667mhz.

Is there a utility I can use from within windows to push the voltage of the memory up to the correct amount?

I thought the gigabyte boards came with overclocking software. You can get it from their website (their website is slow, downloading from them is slow, IMO).

Mine did it was on the driver CD but i have never used that particular software.

i installed the software from the CD and it lets my up the volatage, but not the mhz (back up to 800). If I then go into the BIOS and do it, it reverts back to 1.8v and then wont boot.

a GA-73VM-S2

It's a *very* budget board, doesn't even have gigabit.. quite possibly it doesn't have vdimm features :/

Check out the manual on gigabyte's website, see if it mentions vdimm at all, and see if there's a BIOS update?
