Greetings all...;)

OKAY i have done my first over clock on my PC i5 750 2.66MHz today but when i load up my PC the fan keep going and is loud.

I only adjusted three things on my PC but i did not touch the core vaults.

Base clock from 133 to 166 making it 3.2 MHz.

Core ratio on Auto running at 20

Memory Ratio 8 running at 1600MHz

After i did these changes my CPU-Z Readings were.

Max 99oC Low High Load

0 37oC 36oC 36oC 6%

1 31oC 30oC 40oC 3%

2 39oC 38oc 44oC 2%

3 33oC 22oC 41oC 0%

My core voltage was going between 0.952v-1.128v..This is how it was before any overclocking so i did not touch the cvolts.

After 20 mins the reading changed and the fans went into hyper mode constantly.

Max 99oC Low High Load

0 63oC 59oC 64oC 100%

1 61oC 55oC 64oC 100%

2 63oC 58oC 63oC 100%

3 61oC 56oC 63oC 100%

Is this normal because the fan would not stop until i reset back to defaults?

I don't think he reached 99C max, something odd in that layout of data, his temps appear to hit 63C max.

As for the fans, i there a BIOS setting where it increases fan speed above a certain temp?

This is right..

I can increase my fan speed through the Alienware FX system but i don't think their is anything in bios.

Is 100% load bad then?
