I'm overclocking a q6600, but it's a b3 revision, so it runs a bit toasty.
I'm on 1.25v, 333FSB(3ghz) and im gettin IBT temps of 70-75, is this acceptable?

Cheers, Si

Should be ok for ibt, whats it like with prime95? ive heard that the b3's run quite a bit warmer than go stepping's. Youre unlikely to get temps as high in normal use.

Every one will have different opinions on this, ibt will stress the system more in a shorter time scale to give a good indication of stability, whereas 8+ hours is the minimum reccomended for prime95 small fft as an indicator, ibt also tends to generate higher temps than p95.
