Overclocking the 7970M

Hi Guys,

I recently got a Clevo P170EM with an ATI 7970M. What sort of over clocks are the rest of you able to get using stock voltages and what drivers did you use to get them?

Currently I am on the 13.5 beta 3 drivers and using MSI Afterburner have managed to got to 938 core clock and 1500 memory clock. Anything above that is unstable.

Is this the mobile version ?

If it is, I would be very wary of OC that with the heat generated in a lappy.

Wow they must have good cooling on them ATI mobiles cards, if i put anything next to the exhaust on my laptop when im stressing my nvidia mobile card it generally melts might come in handy for stripping paint when i decorate.

The P170EM has independent fans for cooling the cpu and gpu. At my current overclocks I'm seeing from 60-70 degrees playing Tomb Raider maxed out. Crysis 3 got a maximum of 75 degress at slightly higher clocks.
