Hi, I've currently got the following setup:

Intel Core 2 DUO E6750 2.66GHz
Corsair Twin2X 2GB DDR2 (2x1024MB) XMS2 6400
eVGA NF650i Ultra Motherboard

All BIOS settings are on default. The E6750 has Artic Silver 5 on it and the retail cooler. Temps are 30 idle and mid 50s under load.

Could I get a decent performance boost out of overclocking with my setup? Should I replace the cooler before trying to overclock?

Cheers

just go ahead and overclock ,but raise the FSB by a small amount each time and check the load temp with each overclock. also try to keep load temps below 60. a new cooler wouldn't hurt at all.

I have one on a Gigabyte G33M-DS2R running at 3.4gHz running on around 1.38v. It's on stock cooling in a stock Dell case. Put the Pci frequency to 105, but as i havent got your board have no idea of the features it has. Anyway 3.4 was easily acheivable :D
