Hi I bought the Ultima Black Ops from Overclockers recently, received it and absolutely love it. However, I found that it wasn't overclocked as advertised, as disappointing as this is I am willing to just give it a shot myself. The specs on OcUK's website are exactly what I have. Was just wondering if I could perhaps get a little tutorial/guidance.

Cheers in advance.

I'd go into the bios and check for a saved profile with the overclock setting. I believe this is usually how they work it.

are you sure it's not speedtest thats kicked in, when pc idle, your o/c will lower a lot.
my rig is at 4ghz, but when speedtest kicks in when idle or litle usage, the cpu sits at 2.2GHZ. just a thought, or do as above, check & load the overclock bios profile. g/l

All the profiles in the BIOS are blank. I'm at 3.2GHz.

Make a post in the customer service forum, near the bottom, and they will happily provide the settings you need for the overclock it should have.

You should put a post in or ring OCuk. They'll give you everything you need to know and exactly where to find everything as it's part of the waranty on overclocked products.

Hey I'm currently in contact with OcUK, they are being incredibly helpful so far. I applied the settings the sent me, which bumps it from stock to 4.02GHz and I ran Prime95 blend test and seem to have got a blue screen error. Was just posting here to see if I could perhaps get multiple opinions because when I did get this blue screen error I found that I forgot to set load line calibration to 'enabled'.
