Yeh, I am looking to get some Overclocking advice for this rig I bought a few weeks ago now from the Overclockers website. And what a system! You guys really know a thing or two!
It came pre-overclocked at 4.00Ghz, after a bios update (even though I chose not to clear the CMOS after flashing) it would not boot into windows, it would just restart time and time again within just a few seconds apart.
So i cleared the CMOS and the system booted up fine into windows and now with the standard BIOS settings.
I have to say I am still learning/familiarising myself with the BIOS on this machine, I have tried a few overclocking ventures with settings i google’d for my specific hardware but stability I think was the issue as I have been getting BSOD’s after stress testing with intel burn test
If anyone has any experience with a setup like my own could someone give me the best overall overclocked stable settings so that I can apply them to the BIOS?
I am aiming to get a 4.20Ghz overclock or maybe even higher?
