Overclocking Venice (3800+) Help

I ordered a Freezer Pro earlier today and hoping that will be here by Thursday so I can overclock my 3800+ a bit (default: 2.4Ghz). I have questions:

1) What is the max temp you would recommend me to overclock to?

2) What program can I use to accuratly measure the temperature?

3) What software can I use to stress out my CPU and how long should the tests be done for?

System specs are in sig and thanks for any help

Bios / Everest / Speedfan
Prime 95 - 10 hours roughly. Or S&M

10 hours :O! I never knew overclocking could take so long

Thanks for the advice, wanna get overclocking now! Hope I don't shorten my CPUs life to much! What sort of clock speed should I reach? I'm hoping around 2.8ghz?
