VID of 1.2375v, is it any good for overclocking on a DFI Lanparty X48 motherboard?
I was forced to use the included Intel cooler as I could not get the Zalman fitted. I tried screwing it in both sides, one would go all the way down and i couldn't get the other down...then I'd try the method of screwing one partway down for some slack and it would then ping off
After about an hour of trying I sadly gave up and fitted the Intel. Any good ideas on a cooler that's good, reasonably quiet (Ie so I can sleep with the system humming along) and nice and easy to fit? Also tips on fiddling with settings on the DFI would be nice. I tried getting it up to 400Mhz FSB (3.6Ghz speed) and Windows restarted and would not boot. I presume I need to raise a voltage somewhere? My MSI was much simpler (if slower etc...)
