Wouldn't usually start a new thread for this, but the source of the problem is baffling.
My FSB hits a wall at 415mhz. Now originally i thought this was my RAM, capping me at 830mhz, but changing ratio to 4:5 gives me ~1040mhz. So we know this is not the case.

BIOS settings: (Note the template here is for BIOS 404, i sue BIOS 504, but all but a few settings are the same:

JumperFree Configuration Settings

AI Overclocking: Manual
CPU Ratio Control: Manual
- Ratio CMOS Setting: 9
FSB Strap to Northbridge: 333Mhz
FSB Frequency: 375
PCI-E Frequency: 100
DRAM Frequency: DDR2-750
DRAM Command Rate: 2T
DRAM Timing Control: Manual
tCL (CAS# Latency): 4
tRCD (RAS# to CAS# Delay): 4
tRP (RAS# Precharge): 4
tRAS (RAS# Activate to Precharge): 12
tRRD (RAS# to RAS# Delay): auto
tRFC (Row Refresh Cycle): auto
tWR (Write Recovery): auto
tWTR (Write to Read Delay): auto
tRTP (Read to Precharge): auto
DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled

Transaction Booster: Disabled
Clock Over-Charging Mode: Disabled (this is different in BIOS 504-mine,template is of 404)

CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled

CPU Voltage: 1.45v
CPU Voltage Reference: 0.63x
CPU Voltage Damper: Enabled
CPU PLL Voltage: 1.60v
DRAM Voltage: 2.10v
FSB Termination Voltage: auto
North Bridge Voltage: auto
North Bridge Voltage Reference: 0.67x
South Bridge Voltage: auto

Advance CPU Settings
CPU Ratio Control: Manual
- Ratio CMOS Setting: 9
C1E Support: Disabled
Max CPUID Value Limit: Disabled
Vanderpool Technology: Disabled
CPU TM Function: Disabled
Execute Disable Bit: Disabled
PECI: Disabled

Now, my spec is in my sig. What could be possibly stopping me going past 415mhz? The chip can: Fact, The motherboard can: Fact, the RAM can: Fact. I've been blaming hardware, i.e. RAM for ages on this, but it's clearly something more, any insight?

Please note: This is not a clock speed issue; at a lower multiplier the cap will remain the same.

Thanks in advance.

My money is on the northbridge struggling, since it's linked to th FSB frequency.

Try increasing the NB volts.

Try playing with the FSB Strap.

ALso, what happens when you change the following to "Enabled"?

DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled

Transaction Booster: Disabled

Do they open up more options, or do they just sit there "Enabled"?
