Hi, im doing my first over clock using a core2duo E8400 and a asus P5Q.
I'm a bit curious as to what certain things in my bios do and what would be some good starting values.
I'm thinking of starting with an FSB of 335, multiplier of 9, CPU voltage of 1.225.
I'm going to leave all the DRAM settings on AUTO to start and simply adjust the DRAM frequency to keep the ram below 1066MHz. Is this ok?
What do you suggest for base settings of the following and could you please give an explanation of what each do.
FSB strap to northbridge.
CPU PPL voltage
FSB termination voltage
NB and SB Voltage (no explanation needed here)
