Hi there all,

Brought myself a new setup over the last few weeks and just got the final bits. Anyways i'm a novice overclocker and been following through a lot of reviews out on the net for settings and advice.

System spec:
- MSI 790FX-GD70 Mobo
- 955 BE AM3 CPU
- HyperX 4GB DDR3 PC3-14400C8

Having previously overclocked a dual core on an Asus Mobo i was surprised how easy it was.

Anyways back to the point, having opened the Bios on this beast i am presented with a million different voltage options in all departments.

I've increased the CPU multi at the moment to x18 on stock voltage to hit 3.6ghz comfortably. I'm now trying to up it to x19 on 1.375v but cannot hit the right CPU voltage setting anywhere, everyone i try does not achieve the correct voltage when booting up and checking CPU-Z.

Has anyone had experience overclocking with this board and can advise which voltage options i need to be hitting.

Also i had a little play around with the ram to hit the 8-8-8-24 @ 1.9v but again suffer from the same problem that the voltage settings i'm changing do not seem to hit the target.
