overclocking without altering memory freq

Q6600 k guys got her running stable @ 3.0 without altering memory soon as i turn freq down to 800mhz on dram freq she fails on blend ,running 8500 1066mhz
would it hurt to not adjust it or does it need adjusting

I don't know why your RAM would fail at 800mhz but pass at 1066, usually its the other way round.

However, if its WORKING at 1066, then don't change it!

yeah i thought that aswell going to leave it a few more hours on blend test see if anything comes up with the ram @ stock
