whats the highest to go on stock cooling when overclocking?

im a noob clocker :/

gonna use ati overdrive :p
 
Well, I ran the auto thing..

Played CS:S for about 10-mins then checked and heres what I get:

Should try something more like Bioshock tbh
 
hmm what speed is the fan at? if you get ATi Tray Tools and overclock with that its much better in my opinion, i've set the fan speeds pretty low so it doesnt sound like a hair dryer when playing games and temps are pretty low.

at 45% fan speed ~ 2300rpm, around 60-65oc, 700Mhz core, 800MHz ram. mine maxes out at around 720 on core and 850 on the ram
