Overclocking X2 5000 black edtion - help

ok just trying my first overclock... and cpuz is reading this mainly but jumps a little.. what have a i done wrong!



the cpu says 2315 but half jumps between 1000 and 2400
 
If you are running the CPU at 2.315ghz then thats fine. You must have something enabled in the BIOS called "Cool & Quiet"

When the CPU is not doing much it will slow the CPU down and lower the voltage to save power. Try turning that off and all should be well
