Every time I try to overclock this card it freezes? At default settings it's fine.

Anyone have good settings for the card? I've also had 2 times where the drivers have failed and the PC screen would mess up saying drivers had failed? This shouldn't be happening, the is a new gaming PC?

After reading on this card this will be my first and last AMD graphics card.

Any help on overclocking my XFX Core 7850 would be appreciated:)

It seems pretty stable here.

GPU Clock at 1030 and power line all the way up +20. The temps are 75C. when idle the temps are 49-50C is that Normal? I'm sure I could've gone higher, but don't want to push the card too much. I'm pretty happy at where it's at.

Hello humbug. I didn't touch the VDDC as it states it could harm you card, so I didn't?

Case I have is a Vantage, Mobo is Asus p8z77-m, Intel(R) Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz.

CPU cooling is stock

I have two intake fans. One 12" on the front and two 8" on the side.

Is the CPU Intel stock cooler good enough? I ask a few friends and they said the Intel cooler is fine. Or maybe I should up the GPU card fans a little? It's at 20% right now, Default setting fans speed.

The Intel cooler is fine, but if you want overclocking i would suggest you get an aftermarket cooler for it, be careful which one though, you have a small case by the looks of it and some coolers are to tall to fit inside smaller cases.

Yes you can set your own GPU fan profile in TRIXX, do that :)

Now that you have a nice CPU, and nice GPU and as your cables are nylon braided i'm assuming your PSU is decent?

If your thinking of making any more Desktop investments i would suggest getting a bigger case next (with cable routing) they are worth it.

This is the case I have

I've spent well over £700 for the PC and your right the case is small, but it fits perfect on my desk. I wonder what aftermarket cooler would work on my case?

Thanks for helping out and your knowledge on my PC:)

Ok thanks for your input humbug:) I'm not going to replace case so a gpu cooler would help. Just need someone to fit it? Anyone know of somewhere near London that could do a replacement gpu fan?

Does anyone have a youtube video on how to replace gpu fan on XFX R7850 single fan Core Edition?

Yes to both, My case isn't the biggest case, heat is a issue so getting a replacement fan is best really.

Edit: Just ordered the cooler for my GPU. My friend is coming over next weekend to fit it and replace my old fan.

Thanks for everyone's input:)
