Hi i am new to building and overclocking, i am geting a new system when i get payed but i dont know if i should overclock it or not i have looked at some guides and they all say that parts may get damaged i dont know if i wann kill my pc or is it just people who dont know want they are doing that damage parts?. Is overclocking worth it? please give me some advice and your views thanks :)

In my opinoin overclocking is worth it and they only way you could damage something like your CPU is if you put a silly amount of voltage through it.

Basically you get better perforamce for free. Who can not want that?

i forgot where but i read some where that it increase electricity bill and the extra speed not worth it XD but then again if u get high specs they consumes more electricity anyway :P

Everything tends to be worth what you are prepared to pay for it.

In the case of measured overclocking - very little.
