Overdue upgrade.

Well I havn't upgraded my PC in ALONG time and it's starting to show.
I have very little knowledge on the matter so wondering if you lads could help me.

wanting a PC that can play games like oblivion and other games of graphical output.

I have
Monitor
Case
Keyboard and Mouse
Speakers
CD drive
DVD drive

I bet you get asked this a lot but I really don't have a clue where to start.

ow yeah totally forgot. Obviously not wanting to drstroy the wallet. But then agai nI don't really know how much stuff is.I wouls say I don't want to spend anymoe than £200 but I don't know if thats a laughable figure when upgrading a PC.

Show me numbers and I can get an idea of how much it will be thanks.

What exact parts have you got now?

The trouble is, a new graphics card and CPU will most likely require a new motherboard which will mean new RAM...

£200 isn't a lot of money to spend on the basis of a new system, ok it can count as a lot of money but in PC terms it isn't I'm afraid. The system below gives a massive jump over most systems and will allow a fair bit of overclocking as well as a reasonable amount of future-proofing, such as it is. There are other ways you could get a decent jump in performance depending on what you already have but this one probably offers the best current performance.
