I've got a 2009 13" MBP, the C2D ones, and something is using up the CPU cycles and making it run excessively hot and killing the battery very quickly.
From a fresh restart, with no applications running the CPU is at 50% on both cores and it is really hot with the fan blowing at full speed. All the applications/services runnign are at 0% or less than 1% activity for a second or two.
Any ideas?
